Alice In Chains have announced dates for a North American tour set to kick off at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver on February 2nd. Tickets go on sale December 4th and 5th, for information visit http://www.aliceinchains.com/.

Los Angeles-based AIC fans can catch the band performing at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas show at the Gibson Amphitheatre on December 12. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, November 21 and proceeds will benefit two local charities, Para Los Ninos and the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center. On November 24th, the band will also perform three songs acoustically for a special Yahoo! Maximum Performance.

Epitaph to release new Alkaline Trio album

Alkaline Trio have announced that their next album will be released via Epitaph as well as their newly formed Heart & Skull label in a joint venture of sorts.

Speaking about the band's different approach this time: "This record is a rock record but our punk rock upbringing definitely shines through, more so than our last few records," frontman Matt Skiba tells Spinner. "The vibe is similar to our humble beginnings. It's a step forward but I also think it has glimmers of our past in it." The record will feature 11 tracks and be released in February next year....

Aussie quartet Wolfmother have confirmed "White Feather" as the second single from sophomore album "Cosmic Egg". The band will perform "White Feather" live on Jimmy Kimmel on November 24th in front of a live studio audience. Fans in Los Angeles are welcome to be a part of the free concert experience, and can do so by requesting tickets at this location.

Legend sign to Rise Records

Rise Records have announced their latest signing of Detroit, Michigan's, Legend, featuring former For The Fallen Dreams vocalist Chad Ruhlig. Ruhlig comments: "We are extremely excited to announce our signing with Rise Records. Having done work with Craig Ericson and Rise before, we couldn't think of anybody else we would rather work with than Rise. We will be hitting the studio in January and this will hands down be the heaviest album of 2010. You can be sure of that."

The band will enter the studio in January and are set to release their debut album in next April.
