[Ah-dos Kah-lie] -Ados Kalei is a solo artist created by Ryan Jacobson. This is his second band, he got tired of his last band, and made a new one. (His past band was called Ryan Likes Pants).
-The name of "Ados Kalei" was made up by something completely simple. By the product of Jones Soda Co.© He was drinking a Jones and saw the actual name of "soda", read it backwards, and read it as ados. Ryan figured that this was a fun way to say something, and then went to the dictionary. Earlier in the day, BilliMarie Robinson had given him ideas on how to "create" a band name. She told him that maybe he should look in the dictionary (as Incubus did) and find a word that really stuck out. So Ryan was thumbing through the dictionary (how exciting!) and he found the word: ka-lei-do-scope n. 1.a small tube with mirrors and loose bits of colored glass in it. When the tube is held to the eye and turned, the bits of glass form one pattern after another. 2.anything that is always changing. An interesting word, fun to say, and yet, exactly and completely what life is, "always changing".
-He uses FRUITY LOOPS STUDIOS 7 to create his music, along with a western guitar, and a simple microphone. All lyrics are written by Ryan, and recorded by Ryan on HIS computer, used by a single microphone. The sound of it is very different, and differs from song to song. ALL of his music is influenced by someone, or some band. Ryan Jacobson is only 16, and started making music when he was 14. Some may not like his music, but that is the same for every band. Currently, there are no cds out, hopefully in the near future, there will be.
