Show was fantastic as always, it's IS the Trio after all.
But that said the set list was pretty much identical to the one in Allentown. I really don't see the point in them signing up or placing themselves on a list like this when they are not even going to play 90% of the songs on the list.
Their shows are good and I love hearing them play the more popular songs live.... but they really need to stop ignoring the more obscure song.
The fans that have been around for a long time would like to hear something different at their shows.
Trucks and Trains
All on Black
You're Dead
While You're Waiting
Mr. Chainsaw
Sundials
Keep'm Coming
Tuck me in
Another Innocent Girl
Dead End Road
etc....
They had the right idea last year when touring with Against Me! when they blew through the Goddamnit album in its entirety and then moved onto some acoustic songs, then back into a lot of older songs.
But the songs mentioned above.....they haven't been played in so long. I have been going to their shows since 99 and some of the songs I have never heard live. Trucks and Trains and Sundials being a prime examples.
Love the Trio and always will but their set lists have been getting very predictable and redundant.
Will it stop me from going to see them? *$%@ No.
