Last Saturday's Angels & Airwaves show left a lot of people asking themselves and each other out loud, "does Tom have Tourettes?" I asked Tom's PR manager and to date have not gotten a response, but I have in fact witnessed his "facial ticks" and interesting "hand gestures" for myself. Not to tout myself an expert, but I do have a Masters degree in Special Education, some signs of Tourette's include loud outburts, especially swearing; facial ticks, especially on one side of the face; hand gestures, etc. After an exhaustive research, I can't say for sure either way, and no one from DeLonge's camp will say definitively either way. I encourage Tom to be leader in punk, neo-80's, whatever revolution he's trying to lead now and show everyone (if he indeed as Tourette's) that he was able to overcome any obstacles that stood in his way years ago and was able to inspire a few generations of listeners. I hope DeLonge considers "coming out" about any ghosts in his closet and just be a source of inspiration instead of hiding behind flashing lights and passing the microphone to the audience--either way Tom, we'll still buy into your message I'm sure.
this was a great show. angels and airwaves put on a great show. i amazed how good they sound live. the only thing i didnt like about the show was the building itself. i think the place was overpacked. everyone was stuffed on one another. there were close to fighting from so much pushing . i wouldnt recomend that many people being in such a small place for future notice. but overall. the concert was awesome.
Was realy good show better than the first time I saw them the never disapoint. Great Show.
brilliant show! although i have to admit one of my favorite parts about the show was before you were even on stage, tom was standing on the side watching Ace Enders and me and my cousin started waving at him, he gave us the 'peace' fingers back...that was amazing. but seriously, its also cool that you did the blink song and boxcar racer song. like i said, great show. cant wait to see you again.
This was my second AVA show and it was the best! I got to meet the band and get my picture taken with them... EXCEPT MATT!!! Sadly security escorted me away due to haveing a camera so thats my only complaint. We did notice Toms "facial ticks" as malibujaxie mentioned above but tom is still my #1 favorite musician.
