Bio:
Since 2003, singer/songwriter BENJI MARTIN has been honing his talents at open mic nights at such places as the Red Eye Grill in High Point, NC, and Borders Books and Music and the Flatiron in neighboring Greensboro. His performance career began in elementary school where he started to sing and dance in assemblies and PTA meetings.
Benji got his first guitar at age 10 and began writing songs more than a decade later.
Currently, the Thomasville native is studying Entertainment Technology at Guilford Technical Community College in High Point. In addition to his solo work, Benji sings tenor in the choir at Trinity Memorial UMC in nearby Trinity.
Other artists that Benji has worked with include James Lawson, Risynfast's Crystal Franklin and members of Greensboro-based country rock band The Big Red Roosters.
Benji's gear includes a Rogue 12-string acoustic guitar, an Epiphone SG Special, a Cort Viola Bass, a Shure PG-58 microphone, ART and Behringer preamps, and Peavey amplification.

New Album In The Works
Thomasville-based singer/songwriter Benji Martin is currently recording his first album, "Reborn," which is expected to be released in late 2008.
