Bio: We are Nine IX Lives (Pronounced Nine eye ex Lives. But you can just call us Nine Lives if you like that more.), a straight up pop-punk band from Dublin, Ireland. We like all sorts of music, but as far as inspiration goes... Jawbreaker, Husker Du, Green Day, Against Me!, At the Drive-In, Fugazi, Alkaline Trio, B-52's.
We have been playing around since 2005 including a Summer Tour in 2006. In June 2007 we supported Billy Talent at Dublin's Ambassador Theatre. We released our CD/EP "Like the Flames Attract the Moths" through Verifier Labs in July 2007 with gigs around the country and a release gig in Dublin's Voodoo Lounge along with an in-store in Tower Records.
In November 2007, we supported one of the best pop punk bands ever (and without whom, who knows if Conor would have ever started a band.)The Undertones, which was at Dublin's Tripod. A week later we did a small Irish tour with Welsh ska-punk band 3 Minute Warning.
