Bio: Select Start is a melodically infectious five-piece electronic power-pop band from Tampa Florida. Joseph Guerra (Vocals, Guitar), Matt Reisinger (Sequencing, Synthesizer, Vocals), Adam Loper (Bass), Jason Polo (Guitar), and Patrick Guyer (Drums) have been pushing the band in its original line-up for four years.

The band has been playing shows around Florida and creating a buzz with their highly energetic shows. It is not just the pink and green amps or the laptop with kitten/robot wallpaper on stage that makes this band memorable. They separate themselves from the bands that are too cool for the listeners. Select Start sees those who like their music as friends, and not as fans.

Select Start has released a new album early 2008 entitled The Rotary and continues to tour full time, in their quest to send their music to the ears of anyone willing to listen.

From September 10th to September 24th, Select Start will record their next project with Lee Dyess (From First To Last/Mayday Parade) at Earth Sound Recording in Valdosta, GA.
