Orlando. A city blessed with bounties of culture, history, a lush landscape, great food and a mouse that seems to haunt the locals no matter where they turn. A city that gives the music industry hope when finding the next big thing. A majority of bands will start a biography off all the same, thrashing, bashing and tarnishing the city which they come from, hoping that a few smart comments will help them in breaking free from the city which hasn't given them anything except a place to call home. For Soldier City Legends, a post-hardcore/screamo band, they avidly call Orlando home.
Soldier City Legends. A band made up of five post-adolescent gentlemen. Nikk Serrano, Gerald Solis, Edward Montalvo, Ryan Scortino, and Vic Phillips will all laugh in shock when hearing they are being described as "gentlemen." Soldier City Legends base their name from the suburban town outside of Orlando which four-fifths of the band grew up in, Saint Cloud. 'Soldier City' is known for more cows than people, and is a haven where retired war vets can sit around a bottle and make a feeble attempt to empty the city's liquor supply. With their story sounding like a Cinderella tale, things get better for Soldier City Legends, as they have just finished recording their debut 4 song EP after only being a band for a little over six months with established producer Tyler Orr of First Street Studios (As Cities Burn, Flowers for Algernon, IAMAIRPLANE, Belle Epoque).

With a well rounded EP, Soldier City Legends offers a sound and style that will appeal to all crowds. It's only a matter of time before Soldier City Legends breaks through the scene in Orlando and starts tearing down buildings across the country leaving their songs in the wake. You can begin to witness the steady growth and success of the band as their live acts are constantly being posted on YouTube. Soldier City Legends songs are heart felt lyrics that tell about the bands future and hopes, fused together with sophisticated guitars, and body tingling melodies, while not forgetting to add bone crushing breakdowns and chest exploding screams and growls that leave ears wanting more.

Soldier City Legends' only plan after their highly anticipated EP release early this fall, is a relentless amount of touring. While a majority of bands cringe at the thought of non-stop touring and never seeing their beds again, Soldier City Legends embrace the idea of being in a new town every day. For Soldier City Legends, their music is a way of life. They couldn't imagine anything else.
