a great show?
of course it was a great show, it was the Street Dogs at the Middle East. would you expect any less?
i dont think ive ever seen a bigger smile on Mike's face then during that set. not to mention the grins on all us hooligans. once the initial idiots gave up the floor, the pit was like being home again. the only bad hit i took was from a security guard on an ego trip (why the fuck do they stand in the pit anyways? morons). i especially appreciate any show where im the only guy with his hawk up and the skinheads give ME beer! no rufies, yay!
Ashers kicked plenty of ass in their 2nd gig at the old ME. Their bass player blew me away, and his mates kept right up.
Flatfoot56 has a new fan in my GF. The Bagpiper/lute/bass/guitar/rocket scientist deserves a few beers on us. you couldnt tell even they were from Chi-town. hehehe.
see you in NH @ the Ska-fest
TimeAgain seemed to have a shorter set then i hoped, but every minute was great (even with a 3day old drummer). they played hard and fast for us and showed us what good punks can still come out of L.A. they are really nice guys in person too!
thanx for playing StreetWalker, my dead friend appreciates it.
i dont think i need to review SD's performance, its obvious they were great. i dont think even broken fingers could have stopped them. they were clearly happy to be back home.
and thanks again for playing RiseAbove, every time i hear that live i feel like i can overcome anything.
shit, im getting weepy...
PS: 10/13 NoFX@Lupo's, anyone?
