AMAZING. They played a bunch of new songs, including "Desperate Times, Desperate Measures," "The Only Survivor Was Miraculously Unharmed," "We Are the Involuntary," "Too Bright To See, Too Loud To Hear," "Emergency Broadcast: The End is Near," "Breating In A New Mentality," and "Desolate Earth: The End Is Near." From They're Only Chasing Safety, they played "The Impact of Reason" and "It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door." And then from Define the Great Line they played "In Regards to Myself," "Casting Such a Thin Shadow," "Returning Empty Handed," and "Writing On the Walls." I could be forgetting some, but I KNOW they didn't play "A Boy Brushed Red" and I rememeber that cause I was pretty dissapointed. But whatever, the new songs owned. The pits looked insane, and the ones I went in were awesome. And fyi, I got one of Aaron G's drum sticks, and HO DANG they're awesome cause their like customized with the Ø on it and his signiture, so that was pretty insane. The lighting was pretty killer too, woulda had some sweet pictures if stinking House of Blues allowed cameras. Anyways, the video that they had projected behind them was a bunch of nonsense as usual, but it added "dramatic emphasis" on the pauses, so that was pretty sweet. Underoath didn't do any signing that I was aware of, and the merch people (Aaron's wife actually) said that they weren't going to be doing any signing. Lame. But still, sick nasty concert, and I've got bruises to prove it. :) In a good way, haha.
