We got there too late to see Hey Monday, but Carolina Liar, We The Kings, and The Academy Is....were all totally AMAZING!! The real mean and nasty people stayed home and chowed their halloween candy, while the fun ones went to this show. Even though this was my 6th time seeing TAI, I will always remember this show. It rocked!

Well, as usual, I have a LOT to say about this show. First, Cobra is one of my absolute faves, and I have seen them around 6 times now. Last friday night, they were awesome! They played all of their best songs, and they sounded really tight. Suarez was so into it, he was a lot of fun to watch! Vicky cut her hair off, but it looked soooo cute!

However!!.....Gabe apparently has some issues with Vicky, and he was so rude to her repeatedly during the show I was ready to get up on stage and slap the shit out him for her. Really guys, keep the bullshit backstage. He did things like grab her face during songs that insulted women, he put up his middle finger and stuck it right up against her nose, he pointed at her when he said rude things......she should have stopped playing her keytar and took that smart ass look off his face. Then, he had the nerve to tell the audience that Ryland was his favorite member of the band. Well, we all love Ryland, but how rude was that to the rest of the members of the band???
GABE-----stick to the music when you are on stage. and don't think your fans don't see what's going on between the band members.

It was a good show musically, but Gabe was on his worst behavior, and I doubt I will ever lay down my hard earned money to see that again.

I have a lot to say about this show. First of all, what an honor to be able to see a rock icon like Chris Cornell! We had Soundgarden, Audioslave, and his solo stuff, all rolled into one set. His voice was amazing! However, he didn't have much energy, and just paced up and down the stage while he was singing. He looked lost, and a little tired. Still, to hear all those songs live was fantastic.

The bullshit is this. While I was going up to buy a cheese burger, I happened upon a crowd of people waiting in a line at the Verizon tent. And when my gaze followed the line to the front, there I saw Chris Cornell signing autographs. So I got in the line! Wouldn't you?? So I get up to where I am the next person to walk up and meet him, and some bullshit bouncer dude says to me, Ma'am, if you don't have a blue wrist band, please step out of line. I said you are kidding me! He said, no ma'am I am not kidding. Please step out of line and let the people behind you with blue wrist bands pass. I was THAT close to meeting Chris Cornell, and I got the boot. That blows.

I should also mention Linkin Park played after Chris, and they brought the house down. People, I have seen lots and lots of bands, been to festivals all over the country and I can honestly say Linkin Park is THE most amazing band live. I can't even explain how tight their show is, how full of energy, how totally captivating they are. On the star scale of one to five, I give them a 6. If you haven't seen them, and you get a chance, do it!! You won't regret it! Then write me and tell me how you liked it.

I was pissed that I missed one of my favorite bands that went on first, while I was still stuck in the traffic jam trying to get into the place. I hate that they don't tell you the line up before you get there. That needs to change. Also, the web said gates open at 11:00am, shows start at noon. No, they started at 11:30. But, the fact that I was able to score backstage VIP passes kicked ass, and I met most every band I wanted to!! Got to hang out with some amazingly talented artist, and I feel inspired by the experience. I only gave the show 3 stars because it was overcrowded, disorganized, too expensive for simple things like water, or a map/schedule.
